We are delighted to be returning to Hatfield House for the fourth consecutive year. Once more we will have an elevated stage, to improve visibility, and reserved and numbered seating. The performance will be sung in Italian, with English surtitles, and with keyboard accompaniment.
Built in c. 1485, the magnificent Old Palace at Hatfield, the childhood home of Queen Elizabeth 1st is a wonderful, atmospheric venue for opera.
The Coach House Restaurant will be open until the start of the performance (7.30pm), serving hot seasonal food as well as a soup of the day from the chef’s table, light snacks and sandwiches from the deli and home bakes from the Bakery and, of course, wine and beer.
The restaurant have kindly agreed to offer 10% off to anyone with an opera ticket/confirmation.
